Hi There!!
A Mandala on a wood slice is what I have for you today. Its been so long since I have posted anything. I have been a little busy with shifting my home, as usual, the part n parcel of army life, this is the sixth time that I have set up a new home. I will post some of the glimpses of my new nest soon. So, this is one of the projects I did while setting up. Two Years back, I had made a DIY side / Coffee Table from Wood logs, ‘ll post that too soon. Well, While making the table I was left with two wood slices, which I wanted to use as floating shelves, but somehow that didn’t happen, as the wood slices were really heavy. U can see this iron stand underneath the wood slice, that’s what I was trying to do.
Anyways, I have a brass buddha so I figured that this might look good as the sun behind my buddha. I have painted this with regular acrylic colors and to amp up a bit I have used the Fevicryl neon colors, and Gosh, let me tell u I am so obsessed with them. They totally change the look, and no, this is not a promotional post, am literally obsessed 😉
Supplies:
- Wood slice/pallete
- Your fav Design
- Acrylic Paints
- Fevicryl Neon Colors

Mandala has been used for spiritual awakening, it’s so sophisticated and elegant form of art in which many circles are made out of an array of patterns and designs.
Here’s a time-lapse of the Video
And this is how the final placement looks like.
Do let me know if you liked this or not and I have one more wood slice guys, let me know if you have any other suggestions for that.
